Montez Brandon, a 20-year-old from Louisville, Kentucky, tragically lost his life following a pedestrian accident on Fern Valley Road on July 1, 2025.
Authorities confirmed that Montez was struck by a vehicle near Fern Valley and Shepherdsville roads. Upon arrival at the scene, emergency responders found Montez critically injured. Despite immediate medical attention, Montez passed away on July 2 at the hospital.
The driver involved in the incident remained at the scene and cooperated fully with investigators. No charges are expected as the investigation continues under the direction of the Louisville Metro Police Department’s Traffic Unit.
