Belleville Community Mourns Aiden Dornbos, Belleville High School Class of 2026 Student and Future Navy Sailor Remembered for Service
Aiden Dornbos, a Belleville High School student in the Class of 2026, has passed away after a car accident, leaving the Belleville, Michigan community in grief.
Aiden served as Commanding Officer in the Naval Junior ROTC program at BHS and earned respect through dedication, character, and steady leadership.
In March 2026, Aiden enlisted in the United States Navy and secured a place in the Navy Nuclear Program.
Born on Veterans Day, 11/11/2008, Aiden carried a clear commitment to service and looked forward to a future devoted to others.
A memorial fund organized by Lindsay Freda has raised $3,225 toward an $11K goal through 24 donations to help with funeral, burial, and family expenses.
Family, friends, classmates, teachers, coworkers, and community members continue to honor Aiden’s caring heart, bright spirit, and meaningful impact.
