Amia K. Brinkley Remembered In Washington, Illinois, With Services Planned For June 11 And June 12, 2026
Amia K. Brinkley, 28, of Washington, Illinois, passed away on June 2, 2026, after a life remembered for kindness, warmth, and meaningful connection.
Born on September 23, 1997, Amia shared lasting bonds with family, friends, colleagues, and many others who valued time spent together.
Amia was preceded in passing by father Robie G. Jr. Brinkley and leaves a loving family that includes mother Cherie Brinkley Bennett of Spring Bay.
Family also includes siblings Ashley Littrell, Amber Williams and Matt of Clermont, Florida, Robie Brinkley and Morgan of Spring Bay, Kenneth Brinkley of Spring Bay, grandparents Dean and Linda Peterson of Creve Coeur, five nephews, six nieces, many cousins, and two dogs.
Visitation will take place Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory, 2075 Washington Road, Washington, Illinois 61571.
A funeral service will take place Friday, June 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Averyville Baptist Church, 1070 Spring Bay Road, East Peoria, Illinois 61611.
