Arron Gilliam, 29, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026, inside an apartment at Jefferson Manor Apartments, 2600 John Ashley Drive, in North Little Rock.
North Little Rock Police Department officers responded at approximately 10:28 a.m. after receiving a report about the incident.
Emergency personnel arrived, and officials pronounced Gilliam deceased at the scene.
Authorities later identified 39-year-old Cecil Brooks Jr. as a suspect and issued a warrant in connection with Gilliam’s passing.
