Ashley Ross Remembered In Alliance, Ohio, After Her Children Called 911 From Their West Ely Street Home On May 13, 2026
Ashley Ross of Alliance, Ohio, passed away at a home on the 300 block of West Ely Street early Wednesday morning, May 13, 2026.
Alliance police received a 911 call around 7 a.m. from children who reported finding their mother inside the home.
Authorities identified Ashley as a parent of four children and said the investigation remains active as officials continue reviewing what happened.
Lt. Christopher McCord said investigators believe 50-year-old Robert Andre Ross, Ashley’s husband, was responsible for the death, and officials later took him into custody with help from the U.S. Marshals Service.
Friend Amanda McAbee remembered Ashley as a very nice and loving person with four amazing kids.
The Alliance community continues to mourn Ashley while awaiting more information from authorities and future memorial service details from family members.
