Fort Wayne Community Remembers Carlos Roberto Torrijos After Fatal Rudisill Boulevard Incident On June 1, 2026
Carlos Roberto Torrijos, 22, died in Fort Wayne after emergency crews responded shortly after 12:20 a.m. Saturday to the 200 block of East Rudisill Boulevard.
First responders found Carlos near local businesses along the roadway and made urgent efforts to save his life before officials pronounced him dead at the scene.
The Allen County Coroner’s Office later confirmed the death and ruled it a homicide as investigators continued reviewing evidence, surveillance footage, and witness accounts.
Authorities reported the arrest of 21-year-old Aquileo Reducindo in the 100 block of East Superior Street without incident, and court proceedings are now underway.
Family members, friends, and neighbors remember Carlos as a young person with a future ahead and lasting connections with those who knew him.
