Dakota Acevedo Remembered After Late-Night Motorcycle Crash In Rural Plymouth County, Iowa
Dakota Acevedo, 33, died after a motorcycle crash around 10 p.m. Friday northeast of Le Mars, Iowa.
Authorities said Acevedo traveled through a curve when the motorcycle left the roadway, and officials confirmed that no other vehicles took part in the incident.
Witnesses told deputies they saw the motorcycle accelerate before it entered the curve, and first responders found Acevedo unconscious and not breathing when they arrived.
Emergency crews provided aid and transported Acevedo to a hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where Acevedo later died from the injuries sustained in the crash.
