David Lee Conner, a 43-year-old resident of Hillsville, passed away on Saturday night, March 21, 2026, following a single-vehicle crash in Floyd County, Virginia.
Virginia State Police reported that at approximately 9 p.m., Conner was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox along Black Ridge Road when the vehicle left the roadway and struck an embankment.
Emergency crews responded quickly after witnesses reported hearing the impact, but Conner was pronounced dead at the scene.
