Destiny Michelle Getz of Windber, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 24, 2026, at the age of 23, leaving family, friends, and the community in deep sorrow.
Born on May 27, 2002, in Morehead City, North Carolina, Destiny was known for her warm heart, loving nature, and unwavering dedication to her family.
She is survived by her husband, Franklin B. Steele; her son, Paxton K. K. Steele; her father, Timothy D. Getz; her sisters, Jordan C. (Andy Melusky), Zoe D. Getz, and Kaitlyn A. (Ryan Sanner); and close friend Jocelyn M. Moore.
Destiny was predeceased by her mother, Jennifer L. Getz (Lewis), whose memory she carried with grace and love.
