Drake Britton Remembered After May 12, 2026 Highway 2 Motorcycle Collision Near Colbert, Washington
Drake Britton passed away after a motorcycle and a pickup truck pulling a horse trailer collided around noon on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
The collision happened on U.S. Route 2, just south of Colbert, near the Carney Road intersection at milepost 299.
First responders reached the scene quickly and called a LifeFlight helicopter as they worked to help Drake.
Washington State Patrol closed the northbound lanes for several hours while investigators documented the scene and reviewed the sequence of events.
