Evan Sedall, a 26-year-old from Austin, Texas, was tragically killed in a motorcycle crash early Friday morning, March 27, 2026.

The accident occurred at approximately 3:03 a.m. on the 2600 block of West Slaughter Lane. Sedall, the only person involved, lost control of his motorcycle, which left the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.

This marks the 17th fatal traffic incident in Austin for the year 2026. In the aftermath of the crash, Westbound Slaughter Lane was closed for several hours as the Austin Police Department's Vehicular Homicide Unit and the Travis County Medical Examiner conducted their investigation.
