Gordon Pickton passed away on March 23 following a tragic accident on Battle High Street in England, leaving loved ones heartbroken.
Gordon experienced cardiac arrest after the incident, and emergency teams, including East Sussex Ambulance and an air ambulance crew, provided rapid care and transported Gordon to Brighton hospital.
Despite dedicated medical efforts, Gordon remained in hospital for six days before the family made the difficult decision to withdraw life support due to severe brain injury.
Family member Eleanor Pickton shared the news through a fundraiser, expressing both grief and gratitude for the medical teams who responded quickly and compassionately.
In a heartfelt message, Eleanor wrote that the family chose to honor Gordon’s memory by supporting charitable causes, reflecting the kindness and generosity that defined Gordon’s life.
The fundraiser highlights support for Kent Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance, the British Heart Foundation, and The Isla Caron Fund.
