Harold Brandenburg, 55, Of Warsaw, Remembered After Fatal Huntington County Motorcycle Crash On State Road 5
Harold Brandenburg, 55, of Warsaw, died after a motorcycle crash in Huntington County, Indiana, on Saturday afternoon.
The crash happened around 4:20 p.m. on State Road 5 northbound, just north of County Road 600 North.
Authorities said Brandenburg lost control of the motorcycle, struck a guardrail, and was thrown onto a nearby embankment.
First responders arrived at the scene, but officials confirmed Brandenburg died there from blunt force injuries.
The Huntington County Coroner’s Office ruled the death accidental, while the Huntington County Sheriff’s Department continued reviewing the circumstances of the crash.
Officials also reported that Brandenburg was not wearing a helmet at the time.
Fire and EMS crews helped secure the area, assisted with recovery efforts, and supported traffic management while the roadway cleared.
Brandenburg’s sudden passing leaves family, friends, and community members facing a deep loss after what began as a routine ride through rural Huntington County.
