Harry Washington III Remembered After Tuesday Evening Motorcycle Crash On Maryland Route 210 In Charles County

Harry Washington III, 32, of Indian Head, Maryland, has been identified by Maryland State Police as the motorcyclist who lost life after a Tuesday evening crash in Charles County.

The crash happened around 7:40 p.m. near Maryland Route 210 and Jenkins Lane, where officials said a Suzuki motorcycle and an orange 2013 Dodge Dart were involved.

Washington was riding the motorcycle, and a 9-year-old girl believed to be a family member rode as a passenger.

Emergency crews transported both by medical helicopter to area hospitals, and Washington later passed away despite care efforts.

Officials said the Dodge Dart driver left the area on foot, while passenger Jose Osmin Orellana Santamaria, 43, of White Plains, later returned and received medical care.

Route 210 stayed closed for nearly three hours as Maryland State Police, transportation officials, and the Charles County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the investigation.

Memorial service details will be announced later by family members.
