Kiamber Usry Remembered After Early-Morning Highway 22 Crash In Hancock County, Georgia
Kiamber Usry, 28, died after a single-vehicle crash on Highway 22 in Hancock County, Georgia, on May 27, 2026.
Emergency responders arrived after reports of a serious crash around 2:50 a.m. and transported Usry to Atrium Health Baldwin for urgent care.
Medical staff worked to save Usry, but officials said Usry died from injuries and was pronounced dead at 5:16 a.m. in the emergency room.
The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office said no other vehicles were involved, and investigators continue to review why the vehicle left the roadway.
Coroner Dontrelle Andrews identified Usry and noted Usry’s close connection to the Sparta community.
Many residents remembered Usry as energetic, focused, and deeply connected to friends, classmates, teammates, and Central Hancock High School basketball.
Memorial and funeral service details will be announced later by family members.
