Lilly Bova, a 16-year-old girl, tragically passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, after being fatally shot in an apartment complex in Unincorporated Glenview, Cook County. The shooting occurred around 11:00 a.m. on the 3600 block of South Salem Walk.

Cook County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene and found Lilly suffering from a gunshot wound. She was immediately transported to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, where she was later pronounced dead. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed her identity.
