Maddison Olivia Leightenheimer, Beloved Daughter and Sister, Passes Away at 22 in Greenville, SC
Maddison Olivia Leightenheimer, a cherished member of the Greenville, South Carolina community, passed away on April 24, 2026, at the age of 22.
Maddison leaves behind a loving family and numerous friends who will forever remember her kind and vibrant spirit.
She is survived by her mother, Trisha RoyAnne Burke-Leach (Jerry); her siblings, Christopher Leightenheimer (Layna), Amayalynn Burke, Kaity Richards (Dennis), and Abby Blair (Chris); her grandfather, Roy W. Burke; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Maddison’s passing has deeply impacted all who knew her, with many expressing their heartfelt condolences online. A social media tribute from family friend Sarah Leach reads, "You will always be remembered, Maddison. Sending so much love to your family."
The family has planned visitation on Thursday, April 30th, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and again on Friday, May 1st, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth, Ohio. A funeral service will be held immediately after on Friday at 12:00 PM.
