Samantha Atkins, a beloved resident of Jena, Louisiana, passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 26.
Born on November 23, 1999, Samantha filled her years with a warmth and presence that those closest to her will forever cherish.
Family and friends now gather in grief, holding tightly to the memories that defined a life gone too soon.
Loved ones described Samantha as a precious presence whose spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Samantha leaves behind a devoted mother, Patricia Hefner, along with siblings Amber Johnson, Mackenzie Pritchard, Jordyn Williams, and Tyler Atkins.
Samantha also shared a special bond with nieces and nephews Bryson Barron, Greyson Atkins, Emma Pritchard, Raeleigh Atkins, and Sophie Atkins.
Grandparents Ross Ratcliff, Linda Ratcliff, Bill Atkins, and Diana Nicholson continue to honor Samantha’s memory.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Community Pentecostal Church, 12722 LA-8 in Jonesville, Louisiana.
A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at the same location under the care of Magnolia Funeral Home.
