Tom Herman passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026, following a sudden medical event while enjoying a motorcycle trail ride, one of Tom’s favorite hobbies.
Loved ones remember Tom as a devoted spouse, loving parent, cherished child, sibling, and friend whose kindness, humor, and generous nature reached many people.
Tom leaves behind Megan and two daughters, Julia and Addison.
Julia is preparing to begin studies at Penn State University, a place that held special meaning for Tom as a Penn State graduate.
Addison will enter a junior year of high school and will soon begin planning a future college path.
Lauren Canning organized a GoFundMe fundraiser titled “Supporting the Herman Family” on Thursday, June 11, 2026, and it had raised $4,975 of a $15,000 goal through 24 donations.
Funds will support Julia and Addison’s future college education as family and friends honor Tom’s memory.
