Victor Shalom Remembered Through Go Riley Memorial Scholarship After Pancreatic Cancer Battle
Victor Shalom, lovingly known as Vic, is being remembered by family through the “Go Riley!” Victor Shalom Memorial Scholarship.
Dara and Deb Shalom organized the fundraiser on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, in Port Washington, NY, with $2,950 raised toward a $25,000 goal from 4 donations.
The memorial fund honors Vic’s life, legacy, love of soccer, and bond with oldest daughter Riley, whom Vic often cheered for from the sidelines.
The scholarship will help cover tuition for a travel soccer player who may otherwise lack the opportunity to participate or may face family hardship.
Details regarding memorial services, obituary, and funeral arrangements will be announced later by family members.
