Aljean Ledet, 58, Tragically Killed in Terrebonne Parish Crash on March 25, 2026, After Pontiac Strikes Unrestrained Chevrolet
Chauvin, Louisiana – On the evening of March 25, 2026, 58-year-old Aljean Ledet tragically lost their life in a car accident in Terrebonne Parish. The fatal collision occurred around 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Louisiana Highway 56 and Josie Court.
Preliminary reports from the Louisiana State Police reveal that a 2006 Pontiac G6, traveling at a high rate of speed, struck the rear of a 2008 Chevrolet Colorado. Aljean Ledet, who was driving the Chevrolet, was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The impact caused the Chevrolet to overturn, and Ledet suffered fatal injuries, pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Pontiac, who was also unrestrained, sustained serious injuries and was transported to an out-of-area hospital for treatment. Toxicology samples were collected from both drivers as part of the investigation, which is ongoing.
