Braydon Finkas Remembered After May 21 Nippon Mill Chemical Incident As Fundraiser Supports Kaitlyn Kincaid

Braydon Finkas passed away on May 21 after a chemical incident at the Nippon Mill in Longview, WA.

Braydon worked as an electrician at the mill and earned deep respect for helping friends, neighbors, and coworkers whenever support was needed.

Braydon and partner Kaitlyn Kincaid built a caring home in Cathlamet, WA, where they welcomed exchange students and others who needed kindness and stability.

Friends remember Braydon for laughter, warmth, brisket, golf, cribbage, travel with Kaitlyn, and steady care for their dogs.

Rex Czuba organized a fundraiser on Thursday, May 28, 2026, to support Kaitlyn with housing, missed wages, bills, and dog care.

The campaign, titled Celebrating Braydon by Supporting Kaitlyn, has raised $5,225 toward a $20,000 goal through 32 donations.
