Dylan Chace Stamour, 22, of Norwich, Connecticut, died after an early Sunday pedestrian crash on Interstate 395 northbound near Exit 11.
At approximately 2:58 a.m., Connecticut State Police troopers and local firefighters responded after callers reported a vehicle and pedestrian incident on the dark roadway.
Troopers began CPR at the scene, and arriving fire personnel continued lifesaving care before emergency crews transported Dylan to a nearby hospital.
Medical staff later pronounced Dylan deceased after efforts to save Dylan’s life could not overcome the severe injuries.
Authorities temporarily closed the Route 82 on-ramp while investigators worked to review the circumstances and timeline of the early morning incident.
