Margaret Bonich Remembered After May 25, 2026 Passing As Family Plans Cremation And A Peaceful Catalina Island Memorial
Margaret Bonich, born April 22, 1946, passed away on May 25, 2026, at the age of 80.
Angelina Bonich created a May 26, 2026 fundraiser in Lakewood, CA, to support cremation and a ceremony honoring Margaret’s life.
The fundraiser reported $1,555 raised toward a $5,000 goal through 21 donations.
Family remembered Margaret as joyful, caring, and often holding a Diet Coke while sharing jokes and heartfelt moments with loved ones.
Margaret helped raise three grandchildren, Alberto, Christopher, and Angelina, and family said Margaret hoped for ashes to be released in the ocean near Catalina Island, where Michael Bonich’s ashes were also released.
Margaret was also remembered alongside spouse Michael Bonich and daughter Michelle Bonich, who passed away in 2021.
Memorial service details will be announced later by family.
