Taryn Morgan Remembered In Jefferson Township After Fatal May 21, 2026 Home Incident In Dauphin County
Taryn Morgan, 45, died Thursday afternoon, May 21, 2026, at a home at 94 Carsonville Road in Jefferson Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania State Police from the Lykens barracks responded at about 2:13 p.m. and found Taryn Morgan and Dennis Morgan, 46, with serious injuries.
Officials said Dennis Morgan was airlifted to Hershey Medical Center in critical condition, and investigators reported no public threat as their review continued.
Taryn Morgan served for 20 years as a high school agriculture teacher in the Upper Dauphin Area School District.
The district confirmed the loss on Friday, May 22, 2026, and Superintendent Dr. Jared W. Shade described Taryn as a dedicated member of the high school faculty.
Taryn also helped operate the Carsonville Hotel and was known as a parent of three, educator, business owner, and community member.
Former students, families, neighbors, and friends remembered Taryn for patience, warmth, steady guidance, and a lasting commitment to young people.
Memorial service details and funeral arrangements will be announced later by the family.
