Baton Rouge Teen Tyruan Dunn Remembered After Being Pronounced Dead Near Wooddale Boulevard And Lobwood Drive On Wednesday Evening
Tyruan Dunn, a 15-year-old from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was pronounced dead after emergency crews responded near Wooddale Boulevard and Lobwood Drive around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office released Tyruan Dunn’s name after family notification, according to the report dated May 21, 2026.
First responders reached the scene quickly and provided urgent care, but Tyruan did not survive.
Detectives remained in the area to gather evidence and speak with anyone who may have information.
Authorities have not announced a motive, any arrests, or a publicly identified suspect as the investigation continues.
