Lori Lynn Henderson Dies After Medical Emergency in Missoula, MT, as Family Shares a Heartfelt Tribute and Plans a Memorial
Lori Lynn Henderson died on February 23, 2026, after suffering a major stroke at home in Missoula, Montana, according to a fundraiser shared by family.
Trina Valadez, Lori’s eldest daughter, said doctors contacted the family before Lori was later pronounced brain dead, prompting an immediate trip from California to Montana.
Family members said Lori lived alone and that friends and relatives grew concerned after an unusual silence in messages and on social media, which led to a welfare check.
The fundraiser remembers Lori as someone who had recently secured a home in late 2025, worked hard, and took pride in building a life independently in Montana.
Trina wrote, “Lori was a happy person, and it shined through her smile,” while also sharing hope that Lori’s organ donation will help others.
The family is raising support for cremation expenses and travel to bring Lori’s ashes home, with memorial details expected to be announced later.
