Oleapper Pimentel, affectionately known as Ms. O, has been remembered as a beloved paraprofessional who served students and colleagues of 314 for schools 277 and 224.
Megan Bacchus created a fundraiser on Friday, 08 May 2026, in Jamaica, NY, to honor Pimentel’s legacy and support family funeral and memorial costs.
The fundraiser reported $2,125 raised toward a $20,000 goal through 32 donations.
Colleagues described Pimentel as kind, warm, caring, and deeply committed to creating patient, supportive, and joyful spaces for children, families, and school staff.
The school community continues to keep Pimentel’s family, friends, students, and coworkers in their thoughts as memorial service details remain pending.
