A family fundraiser created by Tessa Lund on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, shares that a Sunday evening car accident on May 17, 2026, took the lives of Roxanne Mowrey, 50, Ron Dykes, 55, Ashlynn Mowrey, 3, and Avery Carter, 5.
The family described the loss as unimaginable and asked the community to help ease funeral costs and related needs.

Avery leaves parents Robert and Kerry Carter and older brother Kaleb, along with many relatives who now carry deep sorrow.
