Brandon Lee Frausto Remembered After June 14, 2026 Early Morning US 83 Crash In Dimmit County Near Carrizo Springs
Brandon Lee Frausto, 29, died on June 14, 2026, after an early morning crash at approximately 3:16 a.m. on US 83, about four miles north of Carrizo Springs near Midway Park Road, County Road 101.
The Texas Department of Public Safety reported that a 2024 gray Hyundai Sonata traveled southbound, left its lane, crossed into northbound traffic, entered a bar ditch, hit a concrete embankment, and rolled over.
Authorities said Frausto was pronounced dead at the scene after the crash sequence, while a passenger received care at Dimmit Regional Hospital.
Family, friends, and members of the Carrizo Springs community have shared condolences as they remember Frausto’s life, presence, and lasting place among loved ones.
Officials continue to review the case, and the family will announce memorial and funeral service details at a later time.
